Planned Community Onsite Schools
Mantua residents will enjoy the convenience of Van Alstyne onsite schools, with our young students being able to experience throwback days of walking or biking to school with friends. It’s part of the charm of small-town living that is found in Mantua.
Van Alstyne High School Now Open
Van Alstyne High School, one of the planned community onsite schools in Mantua, is now open and ready to welcome students for the 2024-2025 academic year. Located on a 103-acre parcel, this 273,000-square-foot facility is designed to inspire education and exploration, allowing students to discover their passions and prepare for the future. The school features a state-of-the-art media center, fine arts area, science labs, and core classrooms, along with extensive resources to support career and technical education programs in A/V tech, broadcasting, business information systems, culinary arts, robotics and engineering, agriculture, and more.
Future Onsite Elementary School
Nestled within walking and biking distance of several Mantua neighborhoods is land dedicated for another planned community onsite school. This will be an elementary school, and we expect sidewalks leading to the school to be full mornings and afternoons with students trekking to and from school. Having a Van Alstyne onsite school serving our youngest residents also gives parents the added comfort of knowing if their little one forgets lunch or starts feeling ill, they can be there in a snap.
